Then Meatball Parmigiana Bites are the way to go.

I made these for my family when I realized I forgot the Italian bread and we were having Meatball Parmigiana. You can not have Meatball Parmigiana without the bread. Well at least this Italian family can’t!  : )

These are super easy because you can make the meatballs and sauce ahead of time and then make the rest of the recipe fresh within 20 minutes (including prep time).

What you need: (makes 16 Meatball Parmigiana Bites)

1 cup of your family’s tomato sauce

Your favorite meatballs (your recipe or small frozen meatballs)

1 roll of Pillsbury Grands Flaky Biscuits

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

Heat up your sauce in a small sauce pan. You decide how much sauce you want to make. This depends on how much sauce you like. I usually make a cup of sauce to yield 16 Meatball Parmigiana Bites.

Make your favorite meatballs about the width of a half dollar. Party-sized frozen meatballs work too.

I bake my meatballs so they are not as greasy and I make them ahead of time and leave them in a Ziploc container till I am ready to use them.

Then take your Pillsbury Flaky Biscuits and cut them in half.

Wrap the meatball (shown below).

Make sure to leave the top of the meatball showing.

Bake in a 375 Degree F oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

At the 8 minute mark top each meatball bite with the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Some like it really cheesy so add as little or as much cheese as you like!

Continue to bake for another 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.

This is one recipe you will use over and over again. Quick and easy to make.
