This is a fun craft using recyclable items to make a Bottle Crocodile

What you need to make this craft is:

An empty 2 liter soda bottle, an empty Tropicana Juice Bottle, 1 Paper Towel Roll, White construction paper, Green Construction Paper, Green Acrylic paint, Scissors and a Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

First, take your two bottles and paint them green

Then, paint your paper towel roll green

And cut one long piece of green construction paper ( shown below)

Fold the green construction paper accordion like and then hot glue on top of painted paper towel roll.

Make two eyes and teeth using white construction paper. Take a black marker to make eyes on the two white circles.

Now using your hot glue gun attach the eyes and mouth to the 2 liter painted bottle.

Also, glue the bottom of the two liter painted bottle to the bottom of the painted Tropicana Bottle.

Don’t put the cap of the Tropicana bottle on instead put the hot glue around the rim and attach the painted paper towel roll for the crocs’ tail.

My reason for making the crocodile was a peter pan inspired playdate I had at my house.

I made an area where the kids could walk the plank to avoid the tic toc croc. The kids loved the crocodile. It was a really fun activity.
