Today is Dr. Seuss’s Birthday… celebrate by making some adorable inspired Seuss Crafts.
Get those little hands all full of finger paint and let’s make some happy paintings with Dr. Seuss characters.
One of my favorite Dr. Suess Books is the Lorax…
he speaks for the Trees and we love all things nature in our house.
Just by using Yellow Finger paint, white paper, black sharpie marker and 2 large wiggly eyes you can make the Lorax himself.
Have your child use both their hands to make the Lorax moustache with yellow finger paint.
I use the finger paint as a gluing agent and attach the eyes to the paper. And lastly, have your child make his eyebrows with their finger.
The next Dr. Seuss finger paint picture we made was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish , Blue Fish
This picture I have seen all over Pinterest. I have seen it done with finger paint hands or with construction paper hand cut outs. Either way is equally adorable.
All you need to make this is:
Green, Blue, Red and Yellow Finger Paints
Medium size wiggle eyes
Black Sharpie Marker
White Finger Paint Paper
First, make your different color hand prints.
You need 1 yellow fish, 2 green fish, 1 red fish and 1 blue fish.
Attach one of the wiggly eyes to each fish.
Then, using your black sharpie marker draw the mouth and bubbles and write the words to complete your project.
