Valentine’s Day is coming up and I am always looking for fun new projects for the girls to make.
I saw this idea of Celery Stamping on Pinterest and I knew we had to give it a try.
This is a great way to create with little hands. Using the bottom of the celery as a stamp is big enough for little ones to get a good grip and create something beautiful.
All you need is:
Red , Pink or Purple Crayola Washable Kids Paint (for flowers)
Green Washable Paint
First, cut off the bottom of your celery to use as the stamp.
Next, put the paint down on a paper dish and have your child cover the bottom of the celery with whatever paint color they desire. My daughter loves red roses so that’s why ours are red.
Have your child stamp the paper to make beautiful flowers.
Using the green washable paint and your paintbrush have your child paint a stem and leaves to complete the flower.
These celery stamps were a great way to create beautiful flowers for Valentine’s Day!
My daughter was very happy with her painting and I was excited to share this idea with all of you.
I was inspired from Pinterest to make these celery stamps. I saw the flowers on Crafty Morning –> here
and I can not wait to try making hearts with the bottom of the stalks what a cute idea I
