What a wonderful day at the Sweetbriar Nature Center this past Wednesday!

I had so much fun reading “What Does Bunny See? A book of Colors and Flowers.” by Linda Sue Park.

The kids enjoyed the anticipation built up from guessing  what colors the bunny in the story would discover, and was even more surprised when our friend Eric introduced Ginger, one of the resident bunnies at the nature center.

We made beautiful flower collages and planted grass seeds to make our very own grass-heads to bring home to care for and love.

The Sweetbriar Nature Center is definitely one of my favorite places to be, and it makes me so happy to be able to share different stories with everyone. I love to see the excitement in people’s eyes when they discover for the first time all the great things the nature center offers.

I look forward to seeing everyone again next month!
