While we can never know exactly what the future holds, there are enough clues and trends to help us start painting a picture of what it could look like. For example, it’s clear technology is driving today’s world, and will continue to impact the years ahead—to an even larger extent, at that. We also know that in 10 years, there will be more technology jobs than there will be qualified people to fill them.

Morning Routine- Fitspiration

It has been quite a week! Sloane and I took a trip down to Florida to escape the cold and visit with my family. We had a great time, as we always do when we are there, but we had some BUSY days. I think we are both going to need a day or two to recover from all the fun and excitement.

Even though it was a vacation, I wanted to stay on track with my daily workouts. Now, when I am home I plan my workout into my day, so I knew that if I wanted to make sure I got them in while away, I would need to set a specific time to do them. Even though I don’t workout at the same time everyday, sometimes I workout in the morning and sometimes those workouts don’t happen until after Sloane goes to bed, I always know when I will be working out. This helps me avoid excuses – these workouts are just part of my day.

Easter Basket Filler Ideas (non-candy treats)

When we think Easter we think Easter baskets filled with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and other fun candies. I love the idea of limiting the candy and giving my kids Easter basket with fun toys that can fit inside of an Easter basket.

The Long Island Concert Orchestra brings to life Sergei Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale of Peter and the Wolf.

The show will be on Sunday, April 22 at 3pm at the Patchogue Theatre. The story will be narrated by Radio Personality Cindy Clifford (of WALK-FM fame).
