Seeing the Harlem Globetrotters LIVE was a show I have always wanted to see in person.

Since I was a little girl I always enjoyed basketball and there was always something so magical and mesmerizing about the Harlem Globetrotters. I think we have all tried to spin a ball on our finger like a Harlem Globetrotter, right? It has to be one of the coolest things to accomplish in a child’s eyes and to be honest if I could spin the ball on my finger these days I would be pretty psyched, too. 

We highly recommend seeing the Harlem Globetrotters with your family because this is not your ordinary basketball game. There is a lot of laugh out loud moments with lots of tricks (and not just ones using a basketball). Audience participation is the key to the show. It is a fully interactive game and fans of all ages will enjoy cheering and rooting for the World Famous Globetrotters. If you are sitting near the court you may be pulled onto the court for some fun, as well. This tour is all about the fans and a lot of fans got a chance to be part of the show. Big Easy is a great front man and led the humor throughout the show. 

 

I love the Harlem Globetrotters music that you can hear in the video below. Brings back such wonderful memories from childhood seeing the commercials on television.

 

 

This high energy basketball game is one your kids will talk about for a while. My girls became instant fans and were so excited to see female basketball players out on the court doing tricks and scoring points to help their team win the game. It is empowering for young girls to see such talent and think, “I can do anything I want to do, too!”

Globie is such a great mascot! The girls loved watching him dance and interact with the players on the court. 

Before the show, we had to purchase a few souvenirs. We let the girls pick and they chose a headband and the wristbands. We always pick up a program, too.

I had the best time with my family at NYCB LIVE Nassau Coliseum seeing the show and Momee Friend, Kelly who won our GIVEAWAY had the best time seeing the show with her family, as well.
