We are so lucky to have an amusement park centrally located here on Long Island. Adventureland has been creating memories for my family for decades and we love visiting year after year.

A summer on Long Island is not complete without a visit to Adventureland and enjoying the rides with your family.
We had so much fun on all the rides. There were plenty for my youngest daughter to go on to whether she was riding it alone or with us. She is a little weary of rides and she had a blast. There were plenty of rides that were exciting to her but, not overwhelming. You can see all the rides listed and height requirements for all the rides: HERE

Rattlesnake Coaster
One of three new rides at Adventureland in Farmingdale this season.
This slithering coaster is for riders 36″ or over to experience with an adult. Riders 48″ or over can experience this attraction alone.
Remember to smile! Photo booth souvenirs are available for this coaster.
2. Lighthouse Drop Tower
This Drop Tower will lift you, spin you, and give you that “free-fall” feeling.
41 feet high
Riders 40″ or over can experience this attraction with an adult
Riders 48″ or over can experience this ride alone
3. Rescue Boats
The perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day at @adventurelandli is on the Rescue Boats.
Yup, we got soaked and loved it. LOL
This is one of the three new rides this season. We recommend heading out on the water on Rescue Boats to help those in need!

Even though you are not allowed any outside food or drink there are a good amount of options of food to purchase while you are there. We ate lunch inside in the air conditioning it was a nice break from the heat to sit and relax and refresh yourself for more fun.

Before you head to the park here are some helpful tips:
*Wear sneakers (open toed shoes and flip flops are not allowed on all of the rides.)
*If you are planning on riding a lot of rides than a POP Bracelet is the way to go for the day per person.
*Parking is free and admission is free—you only have to pay if you’ll be going on the rides.
*They do not allow outside food or drink!
