4 Fun Star Wars Facts Only True Fans Know

The Star Wars franchise is one of the most loved movie series in history. Fans have watched Star Wars for over 40 years and still love it as much as ever before. These facts are known by star wars fans, but most people don’t know them.

People want to feel like they are a part of the star wars community and also learn new things about star wars all the time. That’s why we bring 4 Fun Star Wars Facts you probably didn’t know about.

Darth Vader was not originally Luke’s father

When star wars were first created, Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were two entirely different people. The creator of star wars wanted to make a new version of “Dracula” where the main character would change from good to bad as he became older (at that time).

Vader’s story remained mostly unchanged until later on when George Lucas decided to make star wars into an epic trilogy. He decided that it would be more dramatic if Vader and Luke’s father were the same person, so he made Anakin Skywalker become Darth Vader in later Star Wars movies.

Order 66

This one is awesome! When George Lucas was writing Star Wars, he wanted Order 66 to happen at the end of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. That way, star wars fans would have had more time to get emotionally attached to Anakin Skywalker before they found out that he turned into Darth Vader! However, this never happened because it makes no sense for Obi-Wan Kenobi’s character in A New Hope if Luke were killed by his own father.

The original script called for Luke to be killed by Darth Vader

At first, George Lucas wanted Luke to be killed by Darth Vader. Lucas changed his mind later on and decided that he didn’t want the good guy to die so early in the movie series. However, this is why Obi-Wan Kenobi dies near the end of Star Wars: A New Hope. If you watch closely when Obi-Wan Kenobi dies, it almost seems like a way for him to guide Luke Skywalker towards becoming a powerful Jedi fighter. It’s kind of ironic how even though he doesn’t actually kill Luke, Anakin still ends up being murdered by his own son.

The star wars prequels were meant to be a single movie

George Lucas wanted to make Star Wars as one long epic story, but the studio bosses didn’t want that because it would cost too much money for them to produce all at once.

So George decided he’d break star wars up into different sections and created The Phantom Menace first in hopes of making more star wars movies with Darth Vader’s character after fans loved him so much from watching A New Hope. However, this never happened and we only got three prequels instead of six like George originally planned!

Now you know four fun facts about Star Wars that only true fans will know… Did you know them all? Only true star wars fans will know all of these facts about star wars. We hope this article taught you something new!
