My daughters love to be in the kitchen. They always ask if we can bake together as a family.
Their love for baking has helped me find something I love to do which is baking cookies from scratch. I have been on Pinterest looking up recipes and testing them out and I have found a few that I am sure you and your loved ones will enjoy this holiday season.
Let’s start baking…
Hot Cocoa Cookies
These Hot Cocoa Cookies are AMAZING! Highly recommend this recipe. It takes some time to make these because you have to refrigerate the dough for at least 3 hours but, it is worth it.
Chocolate, Marshmallows, Chocolate Icing and Christmas Sprinkles need I say more? We love these cookies and I guarantee you will, too.
Everyone loves a butter cookie, right? These can add festive fun to any holiday dessert table. I love them plain with sprinkles or dipped in chocolate with sprinkles.
One of my favorite cookies. This cookie brings a smile to my face as it reminds me of my childhood with every bite. My great aunts growing up used to make this cookie for Christmas each year. We even referred to these as Aunt Katie cookies. The glaze on the cookie is one of my favorite parts. You can have an almond flavored glaze or a lemon flavored glaze. Either way they are delicious.
I made these with one of my sister friends and we had the best time making these. Making cookies with friends is a lot of fun.
The girls loved these cookies and how could you not love these? Hershey Kisses, Sprinkles and a homemade Sugar Cookie dough. Yummy! These will be a hit at your holiday party.
*this recipe suggested mint kisses but, I used the regular milk chocolate kisses and they were super yummy!*
These may not be the fanciest cookies but, they are delicious. I used a sugar cookie recipe that I love and I added gold crystals to the top. On some of the cookies I used a Wilton Icing Writer in the color black to write the upcoming year.
We rang in the New Year with these festive cookies.
