The first-ever Hamptons Back From Camp Youth Flag Football Tournament will welcome boys and girls entering grades 2–8 from across the Tri-State area for competitive play, nationally recognized coaching and a family-friendly day of football as children return from summer camp and prepare for the school year.
Beyond introducing a new local sporting event, the tournament reflects the continued growth of youth flag football and the increasing demand for organized, accessible athletic opportunities on the East End.
Through its Play With Purpose charitable component, the tournament will also help expand access to youth sports by providing support for children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in organized leagues and tournaments.
“We wanted to create a special experience for families as children return from camp and prepare for school,” said tournament organizer Jared Epstein. “It is an opportunity for young athletes to compete, connect and experience the excitement surrounding one of the country’s fastest-growing youth sports—while helping make those same opportunities available to more children.”
