Homemade Finger Paints

So much fun and so simple to make = a great art day with your little one!

All you need is:

Water

Corn Starch

Sugar

Salt

Combine 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of water in a medium sauce pan; along with 3 tbs of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt

Put on a low heat and whisk all the ingredients until it starts to thicken. Add 1 more cup of water slowly into the mixture as you continue to whisk.

You have now made finger paint! : ) Allow the mixture to cool before you put them in plastic containers or jars.

Add desired colors with food coloring… I purchased some fun spring colors and could not resist! They are beautiful colors…

We went outside and had fun finger painting… I hope you enjoy this fun easy recipe as much as Mia and I do!

*** Best part is that you don’t have to have a separate pot for making these finger paints because they are all edible ingredients and the pot cleans with no problem at all***

THAT IS WHAT I CALL A MOMMY BONUS … less cleanup, inexpensive and lots of fun!
