It feels like it has been ages since we’ve played outside, but in reality it has only been a few weeks.
With these, dare I say frigid, days it’s easy for everyone to start to go a little stir-crazy. To keep the house from being torn apart, we’ve had to get a little creative around here (who would have a guessed a few strips of painters tape laid out on the floor could provide so much entertainment?).
Is anyone else having trouble believing we are in the last few days of 2017?! This year flew by and to be honest, I’m a little sad to see it end. 2017 was a year of ups and downs, but with that came a lot of growth and learning, and exciting new opportunities. I’m excited to see what 2018 will bring.
With the new year comes New Year’s Resolutions. I love to spend some time on New Year’s Eve really thinking about my goals and what I want to accomplish in the coming year. Creating those resolutions is always so exciting – I feel so motivated and energized, like I can do anything. And I hold onto that feeling for the first few weeks, maybe even a month or two, but then it starts to taper off…sound familiar?
Howtoons has a kit for every child who loves to create and learn the science behind it. Each kit comes complete with a mini comic book and all the materials you need to create the specific project of each box theme. Kids end up with a tangible project they built themselves and we absolutely love it!
Unlike other subsciption box plans you can either subscribe to Howtoons and get a new box each month or you can purchase the specific box you want for the child in your life. HOW COOL, right?
Our family loves a Family Game Night and sometimes our Sundays are spent playing board games for most of the day.
Goliath Games and Pressman Toys have some of our favorite games and we wanted to share some of them with you. So, whether you are looking for a gift idea or just a game to add to your collection we have a fun list below.
And we are super excited about the GIVEAWAY we have going on, too! Will you be our winner?
Have you seen the fun Elf on the Shelf games that Pressman offers?
“With more than 6.5 million elves sold, the Elf on the Shelf is one of the nation’s favorite Christmas traditions.” I love that these games add to the magic that Christmas brings each year with our favorite elves!
I love gifts that include my kids hands and feet because they will be little for only so long and let’s face it they are not going to let me put paint all over their hands and make art projects with them forever!
We all love Rudolph, don’t we? Turn your little ones into Rudolph with this adorable keepsake craft that anyone would love to receive.
