NYCB LIVE, home of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum launches “Kids Go Free” initiative to offer more affordable, family-friendly entertainment options.
The program will kick off with the Long Island Nets granting free entry to all remaining regular season games for kids age 11-and-under and will extend to the New York Open indoor tennis tournament February 11-16.
I know, I know what you are thinking. How could Black Bean Brownies be any good?
Well, I have to tell you something this healthier dessert is my new favorite and I guarantee your kids will love it, too! (But, you do not have to tell them there is black beans in it, unless you want to)
It feels like it has been ages since we’ve played outside, but in reality it has only been a few weeks.
With these, dare I say frigid, days it’s easy for everyone to start to go a little stir-crazy. To keep the house from being torn apart, we’ve had to get a little creative around here (who would have a guessed a few strips of painters tape laid out on the floor could provide so much entertainment?).
The encouragement of a sibling can be the most powerful thing! My youngest daughter has been very stubborn about going poop on the potty. She has been having potty success with a lot of positive encouragement from her family and especially her older sister.
Is anyone else having trouble believing we are in the last few days of 2017?! This year flew by and to be honest, I’m a little sad to see it end. 2017 was a year of ups and downs, but with that came a lot of growth and learning, and exciting new opportunities. I’m excited to see what 2018 will bring.
With the new year comes New Year’s Resolutions. I love to spend some time on New Year’s Eve really thinking about my goals and what I want to accomplish in the coming year. Creating those resolutions is always so exciting – I feel so motivated and energized, like I can do anything. And I hold onto that feeling for the first few weeks, maybe even a month or two, but then it starts to taper off…sound familiar?
Howtoons has a kit for every child who loves to create and learn the science behind it. Each kit comes complete with a mini comic book and all the materials you need to create the specific project of each box theme. Kids end up with a tangible project they built themselves and we absolutely love it!
Unlike other subsciption box plans you can either subscribe to Howtoons and get a new box each month or you can purchase the specific box you want for the child in your life. HOW COOL, right?
