Play your Part- Earth Day Event with Jack Licetra

Yesterday we Played Our Part with Jack Licetra at the Boulton Center in Bayshore. We had a great time playing music with an Earth Day message of, “Choose to Reuse.”

Momee Friends of LI was so happy to be invited and be part of Play Your Part. We had a table set up at the event where we encouraged kids to come over and make a Plastic Egg Maraca with us using reusable items. Jack wanted everyone in the audience to have some sort of musical instrument along with their voices; so that they could be part of the entire show.

Jack Licetra is a great musician and he is wonderful with the kids. He brought laughter, smiles and a positive message to everyone at the event.

The audience was able to get to know Peconic Bay keeper, Brady Wilkins. He shared with us ways to protect our bay as well as passed out copies of 52 ways to love your bay.

The audience was very involved in this 60 minute Interactive Drum Circle.

As you can see and hear in the You-Tube video below…
