The loveable and grumpy Pout-Pout Fish is down in the dumps during the most happiest time of the year. Why?, because he is not having any luck finding the perfect gifts while holiday shopping for his friends. My family and I loved the positive message you learn at the end of the story. The message learned is that the perfect gift is one that comes from the heart and not one that is necessarily store-bought. Mr. Fish learns the joy of giving gifts he made to all of his friends. I loved this book so much because I always make hand-made gifts with my girls for our loved ones. I teach them that there is so much joy given to others when they receive something you made.
