5 Little Pumpkins Finger Puppet Gloves

My daughter loves the book 5 little pumpkins. Last year she was given the book by our neighbor Joanne and she reads it all year round.

I remember this story from when I was a child and it is so much fun for Halloween. So I decided to make these finger puppet gloves after seeing similar ones on Pinterest.

I love this craft because I get to interact with my daughter when reading her favorite book since I made a glove for her and for me.

What you need:

To make this all you need is an adult glove and a child glove (I bought mine at the local dollar tree), construction paper, hot glue, a sharpie marker and colored popsicle craft sticks.

Steps:

Step 1:

Cut out 5 pumpkins big enough to fit on each finger per glove. I made mine a little bit bigger then the ones I made for my daughters glove.

Step 2:

Using your Sharpie make the cute faces on the pumpkins.

Step 3:

Hot glue the pumpkins onto the glove. As well as the popsicle craft sticks to make a gate (shown below).

I also made a cute little sign to put on the gate.

Step 4:

Read the book with your child and have fun. My daughter loved her glove so much you can see it on her face below. I think I might of found a way for her to love reading the story even more. What do you think?

If you do not have the book here is the story that I got from 4shared.com  <—– click here
