Simple and easy to make!
Yogurt bites are a delicious and healthy snack that parents will not be able to resist either.
Roughly translated: Brute Force – and you will feel it! This show thrives on the energy and powerful movements of its performers, constantly grabbing your attention from every direction. You will look up, down, left, right, squat and move in herds as the show comes to and around you.
Our 2nd Annual, Let ALL the Children Play in May event happened on May 22nd, 2016. At the event we had the pleasure of sharing the incredible stories of how our local children are making a difference in our community. Our event welcomed ALL families to enjoy a fun-filled day at the LATCP playground at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. We were over joyed when Nassau COunty Executive, Ed Mangano joined us to present our awards to these amazing children.
Each month, Momee Friends of Long Island gives special recognition to an outstanding child who voluntarily gives back to our community. They serve as an inspiration to others, demonstrating how small acts of kindness and compassion positively impact the greater community. They are nominated by their parents, family members, friends and neighbors.
Have you heard of FunBites?
It is a wonderful bite-size food cutter that comes in a variety of shapes and colors that was made perfectly for little hands to help out in the kitchen, as well.
Here at Momee Friends, we are so grateful to everyone who has become a part of our growing network. We love discovering all the wonderful things about Long Island, and we especially love connecting you and your family to all that the Island has to offer. One of the greatest compliments we have received has also become a call to action for us – do you have anything for my 10 year old?
With that in mind, we are so excited to present “Discover Long Island with Momee Friends Youth!”
Momee Friends Youth will bring kids (ages 8-12) together in a safe and judgment-free environment where they can express themselves creatively and develop socially. They will take part in weekly team-building activities that will promote RESPECT, ACCEPTANCE, COOPERATION, and COLLABORATION. They will have the opportunity to participate in service projects that will show them how rewarding it is to give back to the community, and they will also be empowered by their own purchasing power by writing reviews of local businesses which we will visit as a group. We want our kids to take pride in who they are and certainly where they come from. We invite any businesses or organizations to join us as Community Mentors by participating or sponsoring the program, giving you an opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of our youth.
