Santa and Elf Craft

Make your little one(s) look like Santa or an Elf with an easy craft that your child can do themselves.
This is the perfect project for teachers to use in their classroom as well.

For these projects you need:

a picture of your child

Red, Green, Black and White Construction Paper

Cotton Balls

Mini Pom Poms

Scissors

Glue Stick

Black Sharpie Marker

For the Santa craft:

Directions:

First, cut out all of your pieces.

Red construction paper: 4 red strips, hat, circle tummy

White: Circle head, small square for belt buckle

Black: 2 Boots, 1 strip for belt

1 picture of your child (face only)

Then, assemble your Santa and use your glue stick to glue it down.

When you make the legs (fold it like an accordion so they look like the picture shown).

Then, have your child glue the cotton balls for the beard and hat.

Using your Black Sharpie Marker add your wording to the picture.

Your Santa Craft is now complete.

For the Elf Craft:

First, cut out your pieces.

Green Construction Paper: Hat, 4 strips, rectangle body

White Construction Paper: 1 whole piece, 1 circle for head

Red Construction Paper: 4 small triangles, 2 boots and 2 mittens (not shown)

1 picture of your child (face only)

Assemble your little Elf with the glue stick or glue.

We were out of glue sticks so I poured out some glue on a plate and let Mia use a craft stick to spread the glue out onto the paper for gluing.

Your elf should look like the picture below. Again, fold the legs and arms accordion like.

Also, glue on Pom Poms to the Elf Hat.

Use a Black Sharpie Marker to write on the project and it is now complete.
