ELF The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, who crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts as a child and is mistakenly transported to the North Pole. Buddy grows up thinking he’s an elf, but between his lousy toy-making abilities and enormous size, he begins to realize he’s not like the others. With Santa’s blessing, Buddy sets off on a whirlwind journey through New York City to find his birth father and learn about his past. With mayhem, mischief, and laughs-a-plenty, this fresh and funny holiday classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.
We had such a great Facebook event of all local Long Island parents sharing their Elf on A Shelf ideas that we wanted to share what happened all month-long.
Local parents shared their photos and ideas, we had a great Giveaway provided by Elf on A Shelf and we even created a Pinterest Page with the photos of the elves that were provided by local parents.
In the beginning of the month when we announced the Elf on a Shelf Idea Facebook Event we had an amazing response. From the comfort of home, cell phone, or tablet parents could come to our event and get inspired by other parents. Facebook event link —–>here
It is that time of the year again when the Elf on a Shelf makes his appearance. Every morning our kids wake up looking to see what the Elf was up to all night while they were sleeping. We love seeing the photos our fellow Momee Friends share on Facebook each day. So we have decided to put a Facebook event together so that we can all share our photos and ideas in one spot to inspire the other Elves.
Looking for a unique way to get your children or grandchildren ready for the holiday season? How about a visit from the Elf Express!
That’s right, a local Momee has thought of a great business that brings holiday cheer to local Long Island families doorstep and her name is Allison Lynch. She started her crafty business through Facebook and word of mouth last year to make some extra cash for the holiday season. Her inspiration was her daughter who celebrated her first Christmas last year.
If you are like me, I am always looking for ways to make Christmas even more special. I love Christmas time and the joy it brings my girls faces. Mia is three and is starting to understand Christmas and all the fun things that come along with celebrating. Olivia being 8 months old does not know what is going on but she is still smiling and gets excited when her sister does. I have seen some great ideas for Christmas Eve Fun and I know this year I will be doing a lot more than just leaving out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for his eight adorable reindeer.
