We had a Mommy play date yesterday at Seeds of Love Creative Enrichment Center in Bayshore
the Kids and Momees had a great time playing and doing an art project I just had to share
Not only did the kids like it but the Momees loved it too ( so relaxing and therapeutic )
So just like the title of this post says : Glue + Salt + Water Colors = Fun
You first draw an image with the glue
Then cover it with salt and shake off the residue and make sure the image is covered in salt
Next take a good amount of water on the brush and pick the color you want to go on your image
As you dot the glue/salt image you will see the color move along the image and stop and then you pick the next color
A relaxing fun activity, and we all had a great time doing it!
The older the child the more cleaner the project will look but the younger children will love this activity too ( messy is fun )
An activity that will bring out the inner artist in all of us
It works and I recommend giving it a try.
The center is a great place to take a child of any age… 6 months to 12 years old ( there are programs and activities for all kids )
