Earth Day is a day to celebrate our love for our one and only planet and talk about ways to protect it in our community.
Here on Long Island there is a lot of fun events happening and we have a great list of places you can go to celebrate Earth Day this year.
*Please note we have listed the events from public sites and changes can occur at any time. Please check the particular location’s website/ social media pages for any updates regarding weather or date/time changes ahead of your arrival*
We painted ice blocks with watercolor paints and the result is beautiful!
This can be a very therapeutic and relaxing art activity to do with your kids. One of my favorites to do before bed. Obviously, the ice will melt make sure the dish you do this activity in is deep enough that the melted ice water does not overflow all over your table. I discard the ice and water in the bathtub and then rinse well so the colors don’t end up on my tub floor.
There are so many great toys this Holiday season and we have put together a list of our favorites.
We have incorporated toys into this list that we have actually played with and recommend for the child in your life. My family and I feel these toys deserve to be on the list since they are fun and creative!
