Seven fun-filled special theme events offer creative activities for people of all ages, families, and adults.
Old Westbury Gardens has announced the dates and details for seven special theme events that will enhance the visitor experience for the upcoming Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® bricks exhibit. This is an award-winning and record-breaking exhibition that uses beautiful works of art made from simple toy bricks to explore animal endangerment, the balance of ecosystems, and mankind’srelationship with nature. The exhibition opens Friday, May 15th for Old Westbury Gardens’ members only, and expands to the public Saturday, May 16, 2026. The exhibition will run through Monday, September 7, 2026.
“Nature Connects invites visitors to see the natural world through a lens of creativity, and our themed programs offer a chance to engage with that idea in a hands-on way,” said Maura Brush, President and CEO of Old Westbury Gardens. “Whether families are discovering insects together, children are building their own creations, or adults are enjoying an evening of brick-building in the gardens, these programs are designed to bring people together through curiosity, creativity, and play.”
Special themed events throughout the season incorporate Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® bricks, with additional activities ranging from family-friendly programs to adults-only evenings.
