Brand New Drone Shows

The first of three scheduled drone shows will be held the night of June 26th starting at 8:30pm. The first show is sponsored by Catholic Health Services of Long Island. There will be no extra fee for the drone show; it is included with admission and for season pass holders.

The show will be performed by Sky Elements, the largest drone light show provider in the United States, whose clients include MLB, Disney Studios, Marvel, and Coca-Cola. Sky Elements will launch 100 drones approximately 400 feet in the air departing from Farmingdale State College for a 10-minute show, in the sky above Rt. 110, featuring dozens of different dynamic slides.

“We’re excited to partner with Adventureland this season to bring three dynamic drone light shows to Long Island, blending creativity, technology, and storytelling in a way that elevates the guest experience,” said Jade Caya, Project Coordinator with Sky Elements. “Each show is designed to captivate audiences of all ages and create memorable moments that extend beyond the park. It’s a collaboration we’re proud of, and we can’t wait for guests to see these shows come to life.”

DJ Nights “Party on The Midway”

DJ Justin Michaels from We Bring the Vibe will be launching a new musical show called DJ nights “Party on The Midway”. The first two shows will be on 5/30 and 6/6 from 3pm-7pm. After that, he will be performing most Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm starting June 13ththrough September 5th. We Bring the Vibe has performed periodically in the park for special events, but this will be the first time they’re producing a reoccurring show of this kind. “We’re excited to bring our energy to Adventureland and help create a fun, high-energy atmosphere during DJ nights,” said Michaels. “Guests can expect a strong mix of current hits and throwbacks, along with an engaging live presence throughout the park that keeps the party going wherever they are.”

Amazing Louie

Amazing Louie says Adventureland was always a special place for him. He started visiting the park as a kid at 8 years old and now he is their resident magician, performing his magic show there since 2018. “I love working at Adventureland so much. I wish it was all year-round because at the end of my season I can’t wait until the next season!” Louie said. Amazing Louie reappears this season at Adventureland on almost every Sunday starting on May 31st through September 6th. For this upcoming season, Amazing Louie promises “The best magical season ever” featuring new magic tricks never seen before by the Adventureland community. One of the newest illusions he’s been working on is making someone’s head from the audience disappear on stage.“I’m working on two versions to make this happen and when the time is right, it’s gonna amaze the whole entire crowd,” Amazing Louie said.  Also, this season, Amazing Louie plans to make a full-size boombox radio disappear and will attempt self-levitation on the stage. Amazing Louie also plans to feature more tricks involving the audience participation part of the show. For Louie the most magical thing about Adventureland is the wonderful people he meets and gets to share his magic with.
“Every season I look forward to coming back to Adventureland because of the high-energy feel-good environment,” Louie says. “The audience is amazing and very encouraging to me to make me put on a great show every time. The staff and administration at Adventureland is my Adventureland family. Everybody chips in to make the show successful.”

Royal Events Character Visits

Also returning this season are the princess and superhero characters from Royal Events. Beginning on June 25th through September 3rd, a different character will visit every Thursday from 12:30 to 5:30. “It has been such a joy to work alongside Adventureland these past 6 years since our start with them at Ginger Bells during the pandemic!” said Rachel Klein Lee-Sang, company owner. “We love getting to call them our summer home and have a place for our characters to create magic on a weekly basis.” From 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, the characters will be in front of the main stage for photo opportunities and a meet and greet before their onstage performance at 3:30 and then the character will roam the park from 4:30-5:30pm.
Royal Events promises that guests will see returning characters as well as a couple new faces this season. Character appearances vary by availability but if guests want to see which character will be appearing each week, each character will be announced in advance on social media using the following handles: Facebook: Royal Events Princess Parties Inc. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/royaleventsli/

Team Fun

The Team Fun Circus at Adventureland will be back every Friday at 6pm, starting June 26th through September 4th
Team Fun is proudly produced by Team Fun Entertainment, a Long Island based company specializing in high level circus and specialty performance. As Adventureland’s resident circus performers, their roster features world-class artists who have traveled internationally and worked with major circus productions and premier shows around the globe. From stilt walkers and fire performers to aerialists, jugglers, right down to face painting and balloon animals, Team Fun delivers elevated entertainment with professionalism and artistry.
Usually, Team Fun performers will roam the park or pose with Adventureland guests for fun photo ops, but this season they bring the fun to another level by intruding their very first stage show, described as a “high-energy circus showcase led by a whimsical ringmaster”. The show draws from classic circus vocabulary: plate spinning, rola bola balancing, juggling, dance, sideshow and comedy, all woven into a fast-moving, family-friendly segment. They will be doing three shows per evening. They also promise surprise elements when cast members with special talents are available. They plan on rotating the support cast to keep things fresh each week.
“Adventureland has become a true home base for Team Fun,” said Mike Gillespie, from Team Fun. “We’ve covered every inch of the park, engaging with families, posing for photos, and keeping vibes high! That familiarity runs deep; we notice when a new sign goes up or a shrub gets planted, and we look forward to each new ride and attraction as much as the guests do! We love seeing the same familiar faces, both staff and returning guests—season after season. For years we did only strolling entertainment, passing the stage while it sat roped off. Now, we’re ready to step onto it and deliver the show we’ve been building toward all along. Step right up!”
