Showcase Cinemas announced its first-ever partnership with Fandango! This means that movie-goers are now able to purchase tickets and reserve their seats ahead of time to Showcase Cinemas’ screenings through Fandango. The best part – in tandem with the announcement, Showcase has launched Fandango Fridays.
As part of the program, guests who book their Friday movie tickets through Fandango will receive a FREE regular popcorn upon arrival. I KNOW WE LOVE Movie-Theatre Popcorn (it is one of the best parts about going to the movies).
California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is hosting a fundraiser at all New York and New Jersey locations on Friday, May 13 to benefit Sunrise Day Camp, a free camp for kids with cancer and their families. CPK will donate 20% of participating sales. To participate, diners can visit CPK during regular store hours and present the flyer below or mention the fundraiser. Dine-in, takeout, catering, online and curbside orders will qualify toward the fundraiser.
This fundraiser was initiated by Ethan Zemel, a local 13-year old boy that lives with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ethan, who will be attending Sunrise Day Camp this summer, wants to raise money for the organization so that other kids with similar illnesses can enjoy the camp as well.
My Mother in Law told me about this poem when we found out I was pregnant with Mia. She would talk about the days of the week and how your child’s personality would be reflected by the day they were born. She then would sing this poem to me and I feel it has a lot of truth to it. What day of the week were you born? Does what the poem say hold truth to your character?
Monday’s Childis one of many fortune-telling songs, popular as nursery rhymes for children. It is supposed to tell a child’s character or future based on the day he or she was born and to help young children remember the days of the week.
