Summer is here and we are crossing off all things fun to do here on Long Island off of our bucket list.
We highly recommend visiting our friends at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City and enjoying a Nunley’s Carousel ride after you tour and explore one of our favorite interactive museums on Long Island.
The Whaling Museum of Cold Spring Harbor may be small but, it provides the community with so much history, interactive fun and plenty of programs and events for kids and adults of all ages. We love visiting and we know you will, too.
Join the South Street Seaport Museum for a summer of Free Fridays presented by The Howard Hughes Corporation! Every Friday beginning July 6, between 3-7pm the Seaport Museum will offer free admission to its exhibitions and historic ships!
“South Street Seaport Museum is a cultural institution dedicated to telling the story of the rise of New York as a port city and its critical role in the development of the United States. The Museum uses its historic buildings and ships to provide interactive exhibits, education, and experiences.”
The 2018 Free Fridays program is presented by The Howard Hughes Corporation.
Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™, created by Minnesota Children’s Museum and nationally sponsored by The David B. Jones Foundation, opens on January 27, 2018.
This will be the first child-centered exhibit in the country dedicated to expanding the understanding on dinosaur habitat and range. The exhibit will run at Long Island Children’s Museum through May 13, 2018.
