One of the brightest stars to come out of the DC metro area kids’ music scene is Parents’ Choice Award-winning Rainbow Rock Band, which performs more than 120 live shows each year. Kids and families around the country await the appearance of the band’s second album, Total Eclipse of the Rainbow which comes out, today!
My youngest daughter loves everything about this album because the songs include some of her favorite things which are rainbows, colors, cake, animals, sunflowers, birthday celebrations and lets not forget fairies. Take a journey with the Rainbow Rock Band with this wonderful children’s album full of storytelling and imagery. We loved it and highly recommend giving it a listen. (once, twice or if you are in my household we listened to the cd for at least half of the day, today).
It is Fall and we are really enjoying this delightful book, Porcupine’s Pie.
This family friendly story is all about thankfulness and generosity that even has a recipe for friendship pie in the back of the book. We can not wait to make our own friendship pie with some of our favorite ingredients after reading this book. We loved reading it!
Medusa Little Laxers Program is coming to the Wantagh for this first time this Fall for Girls & Boys Ages 3 to 8!
Due to popular demand, Medusa Lacrosse, the Garden City & Roslyn community’s premier, go-to youth lacrosse program is expanding to the Wantagh/Massapequa/Merrick area. The Little Laxers program has introduced thousands of children ages 3-8 to the sport of lacrosse and helped nurture a love and passion for the game. Medusa is run by the Fiore sisters who were both 4 year starters on the G.C. High School Varsity Lacrosse Team and went on to play collegiate Division 1 level lacrosse at Princeton and Boston College. The program is known for its energy, positivity, creativity and ability to break down all the core concepts and fundamentals into fun drills and games that are challenging, competitive and appeal to those children who are hesitant to try a new sport.
