The holiday section of the dollar store is filled with ornaments, ribbons and bows, poinsettia clips and Christmas tree skirts that all can be used to create some fun ugly holiday wear.
Having a theme party does not have to break the bank. Elizabeth Hashagen and Anne Caminti (Momee Friends of Long Island) have some fun ideas for you to create your party with items from your local dollar store.
A festive way to make sure everyone gets an equal number of treats is Poke A Pumpkin. Insert the treats inside of each orange tissue paper covered cup. Each child in your class or party will get a turn for a fun surprise.
Dress up in your coolest costume at EAC Network’s 12th annual Party to Protect Children at the Long Island Children’s Museum! Families will take advantage of the entire museum after hours and enjoy interactive exhibits and activities.
All proceeds will directly benefit EAC Network’s Children & Youth programs, which advocate for, treat, and protect children from neglect and abuse.
