We all know keeping hydrated is important. Water is optimal. I know many people think water is bland and need some more flavor. Juices are often high in sugar and calories.
Here are some healthy ideas to keep you and your kids hydrated.
Coconut water
Homemade fruit and vegetable juices

Here are a few quick recipes if you want to go the homemade route.
*Cool Coconut Drink
Ingredients:
3 cups coconut water
1 cup water
½ cup fresh lime juice
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp raw honey
Directions: Mix all and serve chilled
*Melon Berry Juice
Ingredients:
3 cups watermelon
1 cup strawberries
1 tsp lemon
1 tbsp honey
Directions: Blend all and serve chilled
*Tropical Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 banana
1 cup strawberries
½ cup mango
1 cup milk (cow, nut or coconut milk)
Directions: Blend all and serve chilled.
