Family Fun at the Long Island Nets Games

We went to our first Long Island Nets game this past Sunday and it will definitely not be our last. Our team is filled with talented basketball players and the two hours was filled with Family Fun for all ages and we highly recommend cheering on our team at NYCB Live, Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale.

It took only one game to make our family HUGE fans! The girls were cheering on the team the entire game and since basketball is such a fast-paced sport, your kids will not get bored watching the game.

WE LOVE DALE!

Some Fun Facts about Dale:

  1. “Dale, whose name is derived from Uniondale, the hamlet where the Long Island Nets play.”

  2. He “sports the colors of the Long Island Nets – red, white, and blue – which is also a tribute to the brave military veterans of Long Island. “

  3. “Dale wears number 72 to pay homage to the year the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum opened.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Read more about Dale: HERE

We also love the Long Island Nets Kids Dance Team:

Throughout the game you will see these amazing kids show off their talent and you will not be able to resist smiling as they perform. You may get out of your seat and dance, too. The girls are excited to attend another game just to see the kids dance. They are so fun to watch.

Feel the amazing energy of the crowd and those on the court during the tee shirt toss in the video below.  You will see Dale, the Long Island Nets kids dance team and the hype squad, below.

A man that was sitting near us caught one of the t-shirts and was nice enough to give it to the girls. We will wear our Nets shirt proudly, thank you!
