Goldfish Swim School believes that your child deserves to have an incredible swimming experience in the safest and most fun environment possible. Their swimming lessons are specially designed to make learning fun through guided play for beginners from 4 months to 12 years old, including infant swim lessons, toddler swim lessons, and more. What are we doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

The safety of our students, families, and staff is #1 at Goldfish. Here are a few changes we’ve made to our lessons and facility to keep everyone healthy.

Quick Health Assessment Before Class

Prior to entry, a staff member will check each your temperature at the door to ensure the safety of all families and staff in the facility. We ask that you take advantage of our Makeup Program if anyone in your family is feeling unwell or under the weather, by either calling or emailing us to cancel your lesson in advance.

Adjusted Curriculum

Our adjusted curriculum and lesson format now reduces face-to-face contact and allows for increased social distancing. Our Deck Supervisors can demonstrate and explain these changes to you in person. All Swimmers will be evaluated during their first lesson to ensure that everyone is at the correct level.

Sanitize When You Arrive

Members & Swimmers are required to sanitize hands prior to entering the facility. We have placed additional sanitization stations around the facility for your convenience.

PPE is Required

Face masks are required to enter the facility per the New York State Department of Health. All of our staff will wear either masks or face shields. Teachers will wear face shields when working with swimmers.

Social Distancing

To reduce the amount of people in the facility at any given time we ask that only one Parent or Guardian accompany swimmers into the facility. All seating in the lobby is adjusted according to social distancing guidelines. Family groups can sit together. All chairs are numbered and will correspond to a designated lane in the pool.

Removal of Commonly Shared Amenities

To help prevent the spread of germs and bacteria we will temporarily remove shared amenities such as books, toys, hairdryers, and showers. We will continue to sell retail and snack items. Purchases will not be returnable.

Increased Facility Sanitization

All hard surfaces in the facility and all equipment will be sanitized after every lesson, and the facility will continue to undergo a deep cleaning on a daily basis.
