Long Island History Hunt 2025

From the secrets of the Culper Spy Ring to the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, history comes alive at every stop. Locations include a 17th-century inn and tavern, a landmark home occupied by the British during the American Revolution, a songbird sanctuary founded by Theodore Roosevelt, and much more.

How it works:

  • Register online
  • Visit a designated museum, landmark, monument, historic home, or colonial tavern
  • Take a selfie at each location and upload it to the History Hunt website

Complete a challenge any time between July 1 and September 30 and you’re automatically eligible to win a prize. Visit all 12 sites for a chance to win the Grand Prize: $500, a colonial-style luncheon at the historic Ketcham Inn, complimentary museum admission passes, and a gift basket of curated surprises.
