LICM hosts “Adults Only” Nostalgia Night this Wednesday evening

Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM) is inviting grown-ups to reclaim the joy of childhood at its upcoming Adults Only Nostalgia Night on Wednesday, May 6 from 6:30 to 9 pm.

Designed exclusively for ages 23 and up, this after-hours event transforms the Museum into a playful, high-energy night out filled with music, games and hands-on fun—No Kids Allowed.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore LICM’s exhibits in a completely different way—after dark and just for adults. The evening features a live DJ, interactive games, photo opportunities, and plenty of chances to reconnect with favorite childhood memories while making new ones with friends.

Whether competing in classic games, dancing the night away or simply enjoying the Museum in a relaxed, social setting, attendees can expect a nostalgic experience that blends play with connection. Light bites and refreshments will be available, and admission includes two drink tickets with beer and wine offerings.

“LICM has always been a place where play brings people together,” said Erika S. Floreska, President of the Long Island Children’s Museum. “Adults Only Nostalgia Night gives our community the chance to experience that same joy in a fun, social environment designed just for them.”

Tickets are $45 per person and $40 for LICM members, with limited availability. Advance registration and valid ID are required.

As part of the celebration, guests are also invited to contribute to LICM’s Nostalgia Wall by sharing childhood photos and memories from their visits to the Museum.

Proceeds from the event support LICM’s mission to provide engaging, educational experiences for children and families across Long Island.
