We had such a great Facebook event of all local Long Island parents sharing their Elf on A Shelf ideas that we wanted to share what happened all month-long.
Local parents shared their photos and ideas, we had a great Giveaway provided by Elf on A Shelf and we even created a Pinterest Page with the photos of the elves that were provided by local parents.
In the beginning of the month when we announced the Elf on a Shelf Idea Facebook Event we had an amazing response. From the comfort of home, cell phone, or tablet parents could come to our event and get inspired by other parents. Facebook event link —–> here
Our local Long Island parents are super creative as you can see on the FB event or by following our Elf on A Shelf – Long Island Parents Pinterest Board —> here
ELF NAMES
The Elf names we saw made us laugh and were super creative: Elfie Delfie, Turtle E, Sprinkles, Blaze, Bernie, Cookie, Elfie, Diego, Cupcake, Buddy, Pixie, Barry, Puppet, Oopsilberries and so many more. And of course there was a Chippy.
Adventures of Sprinkles and Knish
One of our local Momees, Dawn had eight crazy nights with her Elf Sprinkles and her Mensch Knish. I absolutely loved the name of her Mensch and the two of them got into a lot of mischief.
THANK YOU the ELF on the SHELF
We would like to thank Elf on A Shelf for recognizing the creativity in our local parents and doing a fun giveaway of the new Board Book collection and some clothing items from the Claus Couture Collection.
One of our local Momees: Jaime Lynn Lockhart was our winner and she was so excited to win. Her family enjoyed baking with their Elf.
One of our local Momees Stephanie Connolly had a great idea for your elf to leave under the Christmas Tree. Stephanie : “Just an idea my kids love we take pics of all chubby’s adventures and then on Christmas Eve when chubby leaves he leaves a photo book with all the adventures and his good by letterthe kids love looking at it!”
I did this idea and my girls love looking at it since our Elf Cody went back to the North Pole.
Thank you to all our local parents who participated, your photos and ideas were very helpful. And we look forward to doing this again next year!
