Think BIG! – Travelin’ Trunk Show

Think Big Theater Arts is one of our favorite places to visit since we attended one of the Travelin Trunk Shows this past summer. Season 2 of the Travelin’ Trunk show starts this weekend and we are so excited!

HELP Suffolk

Looking to make a difference this holiday season? There are ways you can make a difference or even donate your time to a wonderful non-profit on Long Island, HELP Suffolk.

HELP Suffolk is a temporary housing facility located in Bellport, NY.  At HELP, we provide housing for 76 homeless families from across Suffolk County.  We have about 300 people living on-site on any given day, most of them children.  While a family is living at HELP we offer services including case management, employment assistance, GED, child care, housing assistance, we have an RN on-site in our medical office and a full recreation program.  We try to offer as much assistance as we can to the families at our shelter, while they are struggling with many of life’s obstacles.

2nd Annual – LATCP in May Event

Our 2nd Annual Let ALL The Children Play in May event was amazing. We want to thank all those who came to the event and supported the LATCP Playground and our mission of Inclusion. Whether you came for the day to enjoy the festivities with your family, volunteered your time, were an exhibitor, donated a raffle prize or were a local business sponsor; your efforts helped made for a successful event and WE THANK YOU!

Let ALL the Children Play in May – May 22nd, 2016

One more week till we hold the 2nd Annual Let ALL the Children Play in May event at the Let All The Children Play Playground (LATCP). This is the second year we are holding this event to support the LATCP playground. Both, LATCP and Momee Friends believe in Inclusion and that children of ALL abilities should have a safe and friendly environment to play. We invite you, your family and friends to join us for a FREE family day at the park with a lot of activities  for ALL to enjoy. The event is next Sunday, May 22nd from 11am to 4pm at Field 4 of Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.

Angela’s House Fundraiser at the Holiday Inn- Westbury

The Holiday Inn Westbury  hosted an amazing fundraiser last night (Wednesday- September 16th from 6pm to 10pm) with a Luau theme. The Fundraiser benefited Angela’s House an organization that provides services and support to children and families on Long Island that are in need of special home care to support medically fragile children living at home.

 Currently, Angela’s House is providing assistance to over 600 children throughout the community. The goal of the evening was to raise $10,000 by the end of the night and General Manager Franklin Manchester has announced that they raised over that goal. The event was fantastic and we were happy we got to attend such a wonderful fundraiser for such a great cause.
