Long Island Puppet Theater

A hidden gem on Long Island that is simply magical!

Kids young and old will enjoy their experience at this one of a kind puppet theater.

Entertaining, Engaging and Exciting!

From the time you pull up to the tent-like building the kids are excited to go in. But, as you open the doors the enchantment begins for all who enter. The room is filled with decorations as you look up you will see beautiful decor hanging from the ceiling then look to the left and look to the right and you will see more and more artistry that fills the space with so much charm. You can not help but be eager to see what will happen next as you wait for the show to begin.

Before the scheduled performance begins, Anthony Labriola engages his audience young and old as he introduces you to the puppets that reside in his theater. His passion and love for what he does is very evident as he stands before those who have entered the theater he has recently taken over. My daughters were eager to learn about the puppets and take guesses to the questions that Anthony would ask the audience.

We really loved Kirby Monster he is very friendly and soft to touch. Definitely an audience favorite.

The Little Mermaid was our first show at the Long Island Puppet Theater but, it will not be our last. We are excited to return and the story of The Little Mermaid was a beautiful take on a familiar story we all know and love. The puppetry and the way the marionettes move is so captivating. Highly recommend!

As you leave the theater you can appreciate all the time and effort that goes into running such a wonderful place for families to enjoy here on Long Island. We loved it so much we have chosen The Long Island Puppet Theater as one of our Bright Picks.
