Mary Poppins Jr. at the Gateway is Supercallifragilisticexpialidocious!

You will be as mesmerized by the talent in the show as young Jane and Michael Banks are by the amount of stuff Mary Poppins can pull out of her bag. The show is delightful and witty and one your whole family will enjoy.
Mary Poppins says , “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.” The young cast of actors from The Gateway School for the Performing Arts did just that. Each actor and actress whether in the ensemble or playing one of the main roles were exceptional. There is singing and dancing in a perfectly portrayed version of the classic story we all know and love.
Little Mermaid Jr. is a must see at The Gateway in Bellport.
Today, was opening day of The Little Mermaid Jr. and we loved it from beginning to end.
My girls and I were dancing in our seats along to some of our favorite songs like, “Under the Sea” and “Kiss the Girl.” I honestly can not pick a favorite scene because they were all so great. Each character played a significant role in bringing the movie we all know and love to life in front of us. All throughout the show my girls kept telling me, “Mommy we love this show, we love this show.” And quite frankly so did I. I could absolutely see it again. It was a delightful and feel good show for any age sitting in the audience. BRAVO!

This means that movie-goers are now able to purchase tickets and reserve their seats ahead of time to Showcase Cinemas’ screenings through Fandango. The best part – in tandem with the announcement, Showcase has launched Fandango Fridays.
As part of the program, guests who book their Friday movie tickets through Fandango will receive a FREE regular popcorn upon arrival. I KNOW WE LOVE Movie-Theatre Popcorn (it is one of the best parts about going to the movies).
We enjoyed the reading of Peter and the Wolf at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts with the musical accompaniment of the Long Island Concert Orchestra and narrated by Radio Personality Cindy Clifford (of WALK-FM fame).
