I don’t know if I was at an off-broadway show or a house party hosted by Shakespeare theater buffs – and THAT is the kind of night out we all need!

The couple next to me was back for their second show and said it was better than the last.

The cast consists of 5 actors, one of which starts the show taking FOUR shots of tequila, with one loving audience member to prove the alcohol is real. IT’S REAL! You are greeted with a shot at the door, and drinks (and snacks) are served. You do NOT have to be drinking to enjoy the shenanigans! In fact, half of the couples who came back for a second show were enjoying a crisp seltzer water all evening and laughing just as hard as we were! Once the four shots are ingested, they begin their Shakespearian take on a classic – this time, Macbeth. Audience members can bid to be King and Queen which comes with VIP perks of their own – even a bit of control over the show.

Interruption, jokes and comments from the cast (mostly, but not limited to the inebriated member) are a constant and always welcomed. The professionalism to keep going on with the show with all the commotion and laughter is not only remarkable but for me would be impossible! The combination of fun and entertainment with this show is truly unique. Go sober, leave happy – cheers!
