Michelle Licata, Director of Operations – Let All The Children Play has nominated Emily for her efforts. After, our LATCP in May event on May 22nd we discussed how wonderful our volunteers for the day and how their efforts made the day so successful. Emily was willing to volunteer wherever she was needed for the day. Michelle said, “I cannot thank Emily enough for all of her hard work and diligence! You were so incredibly helpful, and I want you to know how highly everyone spoke of you at the LATCP in May event.”

The Raffle Basket area is where she was for the day and along with other volunteers she helped sell raffle tickets and keep the area organized. She greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and we look forward to having her volunteer at our future events. You helped us raise over $1,100.00 in raffle tickets sold, alone. WOW! Thank you so much.

Emily says, “I am very fortunate to be able to help those in need and appreciate being involved with such great organizations. I know that many of these children live day to day with their challenges and it fills my heart to see them smile and enjoy themselves at these events. I hope to be able to continue helping those in need throughout my life and be an example to others to do the same.”

Just like other kids in our community , Emily has a big heart and an overwhelming amount of kindness towards others.

I’m Anne

I love to write about all things Long Island and family. I was born and raised here and as a local, I want to share all the great things I have loved about living here since I was a child. Our community is filled with great people, amazing local businesses, beautiful nature sites, scenic beaches, craveable restaurants and so much more. My husband and I knew when we had our first child that I would become a stay-at-home mom. Thanks to my love for sharing all the things I love about Long Island, my blog was created in 2013.

We are dedicated to linking families and businesses together for the benefit of all.
I hope you enjoy all that Momee Friends offers whether it is a smile, craft, recipe, friendly advice, or an event for your family to attend together in a safe and creative environment.

I hope you enjoy my blog and find it informative! Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with all your fellow Momee Friends! I want this blog to be for all of us and I want it to be an enjoyable site that you absolutely love to visit!
