Peter and the Wolf at the Patchogue Theatre

The Long Island Concert Orchestra brings to life Sergei Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale of Peter and the Wolf.

The show will be on Sunday, April 22 at 3pm at the Patchogue Theatre. The story will be narrated by Radio Personality Cindy Clifford (of WALK-FM fame).

In this classic tale, a young boy named Peter disobeys his grandfather and climbs over the garden wall. When he encounters a wolf, with quick thinking and the help of his friends – a bird, a duck and a cat – Peter captures the wolf and it is taken to the zoo. The Long Island Concert Orchestra introduces young listeners to the various instruments as each character is represented by different sections of the orchestra. This is an exciting & educational journey for children and their families.
