2024 Hispanic Heritage Month Family Craft Activities – FREE with Museum Admission

Make & Take Activities:

• Mexican Piñata:
  Craft your colorful piñata and learn about this fun Mexican tradition, where breaking open a piñata brings treats and joy.
• Salvadorian Cup-on-Stick Toy (Capirucho):
  Create a traditional Salvadorian ‘Capirucho’ and challenge yourself to catch the cup on the stick—it’s a timeless game
  from El Salvador.
• Peruvian Pan-Flute (Siku):
  Make your Peruvian pan flute, just like the ones used in the Andes, and discover the music of this ancient instrument.
