Celebrate National Doughnut Day at your favorite Doughnut shop!

I know participating Dunkin Donuts are giving away a Free Doughnut this Friday June 7th, 2013 in celebration.

I received this email today and if you get Dunkin Donut emails I am sure you received one too!

National Doughnut Day was started by the Salvation Army in 1938 ( and is held on the first Friday of June each year since). The day is held to honor the ladies who served doughnuts to the soldiers in World War 1.

Doughnut shops participate in a free doughnut today but you would have to ask.
