You can have fun with the whole family and do some Flag Day trivia:

2. How many stripes are on our flag?

3. What do the stars represent?

4. What do the stripes represent?

5. What do the colors Red, White and Blue each mean on the flag?

6. What is the nickname of the American Flag?

and sing some patriotic songs with your kids as well. One of my favorites is God Bless America because it is a shorter and easier song for kids to remember

God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains To the prairies,
To the ocean white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home

Enjoy your Flag Day today. What are you doing to celebrate?
