The Madonna Ghost is a great book part of an Annie Tillery Mystery series. There are 2 books in the series so far… ( But no need to worry, Linda tells me there will be future books … )

About the book:  “Seventeen-year-old Annie Tillery and her Aunt Jill set off for Long Island’s Fire Island for a vacation of surf, sun, and sailing. Annie is happy to leave behind the stress of her relationship with her parents. Aunt Jill, who is an NYPD detective, is mixing her vacation with a case she must keep secret from Annie, who is suspicious nevertheless. Annie finds romance and intrigue when she meets Ty Egan, the nephew of their host on the island. They find themselves in the middle of an eerie adventure when she and Ty investigate the tragic and perplexing story of a local ghost

Annie becomes increasingly uneasy and the investigation turns sinister when Aunt Jill goes missing, the ghost appears, and the troublesome neighbors in the cottage next door become hostile. When they find one of Aunt Jill’s special earrings on the neighbor’s porch, they begin to wonder what she was doing there. Will they find Aunt Jill before it’s too late? In the breathless conclusion to their investigation, Annie and Ty narrowly escape death solving the mystery of The Madonna Ghost.”              I took this description of the book off of Linda Maria Franks website—> the Madonna Ghost

My review of the book: The book was well written and kept me wanting to read  chapter after cha[ter. I read it at night and I kept staring at the time on the clock ( like I should go to bed ) but continued reading. I read the entire book in 2 nights and truly loved the story. Being a girl from Long Island and knowing our lighthouses so well, I could picture the scenes on the beach and felt I was truly in the story. Annie Tillery is a great character for young teenage girls to relate to. There is not only mystery in the book, but the romance with Ty is sweet and adds an emotional connection to the characters for the reader. I love the mystery of this local Madonna ghost in the book and I feel Linda Maria Frank did a wonderful job writing the book. I highly recommend this book and I am sure after reading it your teenager will tell their friends about it too. When I was reading this book I was hoping I could of been on the beach reading it when I go camping on the beach this summer with my family. It will have you wanting to find your own Madonna Ghost and  to be in a teenage romance again.

This book is a great book for your teenager to add to their need to read book list. Linda Maria Frank is a local Long Island author as well and she adds the perfect scene for us Long Islanders to relate too on the beach in the summer.

As you can see I really enjoyed the book and I look forward to reading the Girl with Pencil Drawing  ( the next book in the series) Also available on Amazon and as an e book
