Who loves Chocolate Covered Strawberries?

These strawberries can be made to look like hearts very easily for a perfect Valentine’s Day treat.

These Valentine’s Day Treats are super simple and delicious to eat.

All you need is:

Strawberries

Melting Chocolate ( whatever flavor you like) – I used Dark Chocolate

Heart Sprinkles

Wax Paper

Directions:

*Melt your chocolate in a double boiler or in a chocolate fondue pot.

*While the chocolate is melting (stirring occasionally), cut your strawberries into hearts.

*All you have to do is remove the green stem by pulling it off. Then, cut a v-shaped cut into the strawberry. (Warning- have an adult do this or make sure the child is supervised and old enough to use a knife since knives are sharp and can cut little fingers).

See the pictures below for reference.

*Once your chocolate is completely melted dip the strawberries into the chocolate. Cover the strawberries completely.

*Add a heart sprinkle to the front center of the chocolate covered strawberry.

*Put on a plate covered in wax paper to harden. I placed mine in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

They will be ready to eat once hardened.
