Town Offering FREE Drop-in Recreation Programs at Three Parks!

Activities for Town residents to run from July 5 to August 18

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are pleased to announce that the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department is now offering drop-in summer recreation programs at Broadway Park in Garden City Park, Charles J. Fuschillo Park in Carle Place and John D. Caemmerer Park in Albertson from July 5 until August 18.  The programs are completely free and do not require registration. They do require that the child be accompanied by a parent, who must remain at the park while the child is participating in the program.

Children are welcome to attend on any day for as many activities as they’d like. Participants will enjoy sports such as volleyball, kickball, basketball and arts and crafts, relay races and more!

The programs are taking place at Broadway Park and Charles J. Fuschillo Park on Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at John Caemmerer Park on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For a full schedule of daily activities, please visit: www.northhempsteadny.gov/parks. For more information, please call 311 or (516) 869-6311 from outside of the Town.

I’m Anne

I love to write about all things Long Island and family. I was born and raised here and as a local, I want to share all the great things I have loved about living here since I was a child. Our community is filled with great people, amazing local businesses, beautiful nature sites, scenic beaches, craveable restaurants and so much more. My husband and I knew when we had our first child that I would become a stay-at-home mom. Thanks to my love for sharing all the things I love about Long Island, my blog was created in 2013.

We are dedicated to linking families and businesses together for the benefit of all.
I hope you enjoy all that Momee Friends offers whether it is a smile, craft, recipe, friendly advice, or an event for your family to attend together in a safe and creative environment.

I hope you enjoy my blog and find it informative! Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with all your fellow Momee Friends! I want this blog to be for all of us and I want it to be an enjoyable site that you absolutely love to visit!
