September to us means the beginning of fall fun activities.

One of our favorite things to do is go apple picking. We love the variety of apples available at our local orchards. The past few years we have been going to Seven Ponds Orchard in Water Mill.

At Seven Ponds we love picking their amazing variety of apples. As well as, raspberries, blackberries, veggies and sunflowers. We of course bought some pie and jam, too.

Raspberry Picking has been one of the girls favorite things to do here the past couple of years. The raspberries are not only delicious but, I bet they will not make it in your house longer than a day without being eaten. Especially if your entire family loves them.

Are sunflowers one of your favorite flowers?
It is definitely one of mine. While at Seven Ponds Orchard I enjoyed watching the sunflowers sway in the wind on this beautiful Saturday. The weather today was perfect for walking around the orchard. You can pick your own sunflowers out in the fields if you would like. They are located right behind the u-pick apples.

 
The play area was so much fun for the kids. We highly recommend doing that, too.
