A Memorial Day Wreath – Classroom Craft

An adorable Memorial Day Project to honor all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect out freedoms this Memorial Day Weekend. My daughter’s teacher shared this craft idea with us and I loved it so much, I wanted to share it with all of you.

All you need is:

Construction Paper (red, white and blue),

Crayons,

Scissors

and a glue stick

Directions:

First, trace your child’s hand and make 9 hands (3 of each color).

Glue them together into a wreath shape.

Have your child make a poppy flower to glue to the wreath, as well. See our example below.

This is such a sweet project for your child to make and hang on your door this Memorial Day, in memory of our heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms.

Thank you to all our service men and women. πŸ’™β€πŸ’™β€πŸ’™β€
