Bring smiles to those in need this Christmas season.
HELP Suffolk in Bellport helps house families who have reached hard times and they help them get back on their feet. As a parent, when you reach the point of looking for help and then it is the Holiday season it brings on more stress. HELP Suffolk relies on donations from the community.
We would like to help the parents who would love to buy their child a gift but, do not have the extra means to do so. As a parent the most heartbreaking thing during the holidays would be not to be able to provide your child with a present. The joy of watching your child opening a present with excitement is something we all look forward to. But, imagine you really could not buy a gift for your child. Let’s give back during the most wonderful time of the year.
Momee Friends of Long Island has a goal in mind! We want to be able to donate at least 1 gift to each child at their facility. With your donations , I know we can reach our goal.
Who would like to get a letter mailed to their children from Santa?
What if I told you that when you order your letter from the American Cancer Society the money donated goes straight to the American Cancer Society. Your kids smiles when they receive their letter will warm your heart and you will be donating to a great cause.
Place your Santa letter orders by December 18th, 2015 for guaranteed delivery by Christmas.
Does the holiday season sound something like this? I want, I want and I want more? Are there unopened toys or an abundance of stuff and a drought of value? We love our children and they love us so, how do we teach them the benefits of giving back to others? How do we encourage them to give to others so they can be the receiver of having a sense of empowerment, feeling valued and appreciated?
Inspired by a simple request for handmade items from Bob Policastro of Angela’s House, we would like to keep the spirit of giving alive year round by providing warmth to those in need.
Calling all sew-ers, knitters, and crocheters!

What if going to get haircut could make a difference in someone else’s life? You can and Hair We Sharedoes that each day by turning donated ponytails into high quality wigs for kids and individuals who can not afford one and need a wig due to medical hair-loss issues.
It is that time of year when the kids are heading back to school and it can be very expensive for families to pick up all the supplies that are needed. Project Backpack of Long Island is collecting new school supplies and backpacks for children affected by domestic violence and they can use your donations. See how you can help…
