Bring smiles to those in need this Christmas season.

HELP Suffolk in Bellport helps house families who have reached hard times and they help them get back on their feet. As a parent, when you reach the point of looking for help and then it is the Holiday season it brings on more stress. HELP Suffolk relies on donations from the community.

We would like to help the parents who would love to buy their child a gift but, do not have the extra means to do so. As a parent the most heartbreaking thing during the holidays would be not to be able to provide your child with a present. The joy of watching your child opening a present with excitement is something we all look forward to. But, imagine you really could not buy a gift for your child. Let’s give back during the most wonderful time of the year.

Momee Friends of Long Island has a goal in mind! We want to be able to donate at least 1 gift to each child at their facility. With your donations , I know we can reach our goal.

What is our goal, you ask?

207 Gifts!

There are 207 children housed at HELP Suffolk right now.

51 kids under the age of 1:  25 girls and 26 boys

39 kids ages 2 to 4 years old: 17 girls and 22 boys

63 kids ages 5 to 8 years old: 26 girls and 37 boys

35 kids ages 9 to 12 years old: 14 girls and 21 boys

19 kids ages 13 to 17: 8 girls and 11 boys

 

If you would like to choose a child in this age group to buy for it would be amazing!

I am hoping to get a gift for each child. All the gifts donated must be unwrapped and new. What is nice is that the parents are invited to wrap the gifts donated the night before Christmas Eve and wrap the gifts for their children.

PLEASE help me reach our goal any which way you can! I think if I could get an average of $10.00 a child I would be able to purchase a gift for each child on our list.
